Lead Product Designer (UX/UI & Product)

🚀 About the Role

We're hiring a Founding Lead Product Designer (UX/UI & Product) at Goopss. Goopss is building the world's first AI-powered platform for managing online stores – starting with Etsy and soon expanding across all of e-commerce. We free sellers from tedious tasks like SEO, design, and social media so they can scale effortlessly with AI.

Backed by David Siegel (former CEO of Meetup) as Chairman and Jesse Hertzberg (former VP at Etsy) as an advisor, we're still small but growing fast. This is your chance to join as a true founding role – creating our design foundation from scratch and shaping how millions of sellers will experience Goopss.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead product design from concept to launch – research, UX flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Define and expand Goopss' design system and visual language
• Drive feature design together with developers, ensuring a seamless experience
• Rapidly turn ideas into working prototypes and MVPs using Vibe Coding tools
• Balance speed and craft: design with startup agility while setting the foundation for scale
• Work closely with the CEO every day – fast decisions, fast impact
• Help build and mentor our future design team as the company grows, starting with close collaboration with our external design partners in the early stages
• Gather and apply user feedback, continuously improving the product experience

👤 We're Looking For

• 3+ years in UX/UI or Product Design (SaaS/startup experience preferred)
• Mastery of Figma and modern design tools
• Hands-on Vibe Coding skills – bridging design and dev with speed
• A product mindset: you design experiences, not just screens
• Comfort working fast, iterating, and building with limited resources
• Bonus: front-end skills (React/HTML/CSS) or AI-assisted design experience
